Before founding today’s leading pricing consultancy Simon Kucher & Partners, Hermann Simon was a professor of business administration and marketing at the Universities of Mainz (1989-1995) and Bielefeld (1979-1989). He was also a visiting professor at various international universities: Harvard Business School, Stanford, London Business School, INSEAD, Keio University in Tokyo and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.


Throughout his entire professional life, Professor Simon has been frequently exposed to many new challenges that were always tackled with the most innovative and practical approaches.


Professor Simon shares his experience in his various books, many of which have become international top-sellers. His most prominent publications are Hidden Champions (1999) and Power Pricing (1997) which have been translated into over 20 languages.
