Madhavan Ramanujam is a Partner and Member of the Board at Simon-Kucher & Partners in San Francisco and specializes in pricing and marketing for technology companies. He has worked in consulting for over a decade and has advised companies of all sizes, ranging from Fortune 500 companies to technology start-ups.
Prior to Simon-Kucher, he worked for i2 Technologies for over six years. Mr. Ramanujam managed several consulting projects for Fortune 500 companies that covered areas of pricing, channel fulfillment, promotions, forecasting, inventory management and logistics.
At Simon-Kucher, his consulting activities have focused on new product pricing, go-to market strategies, pricing processes, price optimization, bundling strategies, price implementation, and competitive strategy. Mr. Ramanujam has also successfully designed and analyzed many large-scale research studies to quantify price thresholds, willingness to pay, and likely usage for new solutions.
He earned a Master’s in Business Research focusing on marketing from the Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB). He also has a Master’s in Management Science from Stanford University and a Master’s in Operations Research from Kansas State University. He received his Bachelors of Technology from IIT, in India.
